At just 26 years old, Morgan is facing a devastating and unexpected medical crisis. After working full-time while attending school to earn her degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling—a field close to her heart—she experienced her first seizure in June 2024. That seizure led to a concussion, the discovery of brain lesions, and a series of escalating neurological symptoms that have turned her life upside down.
Since then, Morgan has had multiple seizures, debilitating migraines that leave her bedridden, and serious balance issues that now require the use of a cane. Despite these challenges, she attempted to return to work in December because her short-term disability only covered 50% of her income—and her savings were gone. But her health quickly deteriorated again. She’s now back on disability and awaiting care from a tertiary neurologist, with the hope of being accepted into UCLA’s advanced neurology program for specialized treatment.
Morgan is exhausted, in pain, and doing everything she can to stay afloat—physically, emotionally, and financially. She’s been sober for 10 years and has built her life from the ground up to help others in recovery. This medical setback has forced her to pause everything she’s worked so hard for, and she needs our support now more than ever.
Donations will help cover:
