I’m setting this up for an old friend and his family, because they just got slammed by a veterinary emergency and could use real help.

Yesterday, Moose suddenly started whimpering and could barely move. They rushed him to the animal hospital right away. Once there, they were told he needed emergency surgery, but nobody on site could do it. So they turned around and drove an hour and a half to another facility that could take him.

Since then, Moose has had x-rays, ultrasounds, extensive testing, and more. The hard part is that they still do not fully know what is wrong. He is still there now while the vets keep working to find answers and do what they can for him.

The bills have already become brutal, and they are still climbing. In the process of trying to save him, Moose’s family has already burned through the money they had set aside for rent and bills. That is not exaggeration. That is where this has landed.

I know these are not people who ask for help lightly. That is exactly why I am asking for them.

If you can spare a few dollars, it will help. If you cannot, sharing this fundraiser still matters and still helps. Right now the goal is simple: help this family carry the financial hit while they fight to get Moose through this.
