Unfortunately, on Memorial Day weekend, we had to say goodbye to our dog Hadley. The day before, without any symptoms, our other dog Moose went into liver failure. It was honestly one of the worst weeks of our lives.

Hadley was 14 years old and Moose’s best friend. Not only did Moose need to stay in the ICU for 6 days, she came home to an empty house. We did what anyone would do—pay for Moose’s treatment. After days of trying different things, her liver started responding to treatment. She’s now home, but the cost of everything is adding up, and she still needs additional tests and treatments. The costs of medication and treatments will be in the thousands; we have put the total at $11,000 because that is the cost of her ICU stay and the cost to put our baby Hadley down.

I’ve never asked for help and hope to not need to moving forward. Anything helps, and even sharing means the world to us❤️
