Hello everyone. My name is Sally, I am 29 years old and live in Kearny, NJ. I started this gofundme in hopes to get help and support for my cat Moose.

Moose is 12 years old and recently his health has been declining. He developed a rash that didn’t seem too bad at first but it progressively got worse. He’s lethargic, not eating as much, and just not acting like himself. Upon taking him to the vet and doing some testing it shows that he is severely anemic. The vet explained to me that he needs treatment and more testing to identify the cause of it.

I work 2 jobs and can barely make ends meet.. the initial vet visit already cost me $1,100. The new set of testing/treatment includes medications, imaging and more bloodwork. The total cost of all of that is $2,186.

My mother and I rescued moose when he was only days old off the street. I’ve had him since I was 16 years old. He’s my baby, my soul kitty and my absolute world. I am absolutely devastated that I can’t do more to help him. If I don’t get him help his condition will only worsen.

This is very emotional and sentimental to me because I lost my mother 5 years ago to cancer and Moose is one of the last connections I have to my mother.

If anyone could find it in their hearts to donate so my baby can get the treatment he needs I would greatly appreciate it. Any amount helps and I will be extremely grateful.
