Help Moose Breathe & Heal Before He Finds His Forever Home

Meet Moose, an approximately 2-year-old English bulldog who recently came into our care after his family could no longer give him the support he needed. We stepped in to foster him so he wouldn’t end up without a safe place, and we’re committed to getting him healthy, comfortable, and ready for the loving forever home he deserves.

Moose is a sweet, gentle boy with wonderful manners. He listens well, loves curling up on the couch, and has quickly become attached to his foster brother’s dog bed. He doesn’t play much yet and seems unsure how to just be a dog, but we know that with proper medical care and the ability to breathe comfortably, his personality will shine.

Why We’re Asking for Help

When Moose arrived, he had no medical records and unfortunately required immediate veterinary care. So far, he has needed:

• A full health exam

• All updated vaccines

• Treatment for severe ear infections

• Nail trimming

• Additional diagnostic checks

And Moose still has a long way to go. He urgently needs:

• Neutering

• Soft palate surgery

• Stenotic nares correction

These procedures are essential for bulldogs who struggle to breathe, and Moose is no exception — his breathing issues are already affecting his comfort, energy, and overall health. Getting these surgeries will completely change his quality of life.

Our Goal

We are hoping to raise $2,500–$3,000 to help cover Moose’s upcoming surgeries and continued medical care while he’s with us. We currently have two dogs of our own and are doing everything we can for Moose, but the medical needs of a third bulldog are beyond what we can manage alone.

Moose Deserves a Healthy Start

Despite everything, Moose is an incredibly calm, loyal, and loving dog. We want to give him the best chance at a healthy future so he can join his future dog dad happy, comfortable, and able to breathe normally for the first time in his life.
