Meet Moonie, he is a colony cat in my new neighborhood. Immediately I noticed he was drooling excessively and looked very uncomfortable. He was eating but it didn’t look fun. He was bloated and suffered from wounds on his skin. Many fleas, flies and ear mites. His little tongue always sticking out :) After quite a few cans of wet cat food he became quite friendly. He really is so sweet!

I couldn’t sit there and watch him suffer- I had to do something but I needed help. So I began with a call around the town for help. Everywhere was booked out. I began this page in hopes of getting him the care he needs! I wish I could do it alone, but I need your help.

I took him to the animal hospital that could see him soonest to ensure he would be ok. Please see the update posts. We have cleared his ear mites and given him prophylactic treatment! His fleas are under control. And since, he’s been cleared for dental surgery. His belly is just big, the ultrasound did not show free fluid or mass.

He needs almost every single tooth removed. Severe dental disease. Even his front teeth are full of calculus and his gums are red and inflamed. This poor guy doesn’t deserve to suffer. Help him get the surgery he needs so he can live in peace and happiness.
