After losing my beloved min pin, Bruce Wayne, in December, my heart was broken. When my friend saw a post about Moomoo (Remi), a sweet two-year-old dog in need of a home, she knew he might help mend my heart. I just got home from a 40-hour car ride to pick him up, and even though we’ve only been together a few hours, Moomoo (Remi) has already shown me so much love. He watched over us all night while we slept in the car, and when he finally rested, he curled up at my feet. He’s a gentle soul—when I stop petting him, he’ll lick my hand or paw at me to keep going.

Moomoo (Remi) needs a lot of care to get healthy. He has hair loss on his head and back, likely from anxiety or flea bite dermatitis, and he still needs to be neutered. The wonderful lady who gave him to me treated him for fleas, but he also needs all his shots and blood work to make sure he’s healthy and not heartworm positive. I want to give him the best start in his new home, but the costs are more than I can manage alone.

For those who know me, you know how much I love animals—my friends even call me Dr. Doolittle. As a kid, I always found joy with animals, even when I struggled to connect with people. I wish I could do more for every animal in need, but right now, I’m asking for help for Moomoo. Your support would mean the world to both of us as we start this new chapter together.
