Our two-year-old furbaby, Moo, has a urinary blockage and is in the hospital for treatment. This is a life-threatening condition. Without this treatment, the only option is to have him euthanized. Of course, hospital stays are expensive. We are trying to raise funds to cover his hospital stay and to cover the surgery (urethrostomy) that will widen his urinary tract and prevent further blockages. Every time he has a blockage, we run the risk of losing him. It also costs a lot to clear the blockages. This is the second one Moo has had this year, so he needs the surgery.
Moo was a rescue, part of a litter of 3 kittens. Between us and other family, we provided homes for his mother and siblings.
Jennifer was laid off in May and is currently looking for work. In March, our beloved 18-year-old cat Snickers passed away after several months of illness. We could not say goodbye to another cat so soon after that. Our veterinary bills in the past year have been substantial. We are asking for any contributions that can offset these costs.
