I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beautiful bulldog, Monty.

Monty is 8 years old and the most loving, gentle companion you could imagine. He’s been by my side through thick and thin, and now he’s the one who needs some extra love and support.

Recently, Monty began showing signs of serious discomfort struggling to urinate, whimpering in pain, and becoming increasingly lethargic. After rushing him to the vet, we were told he needed a cystotomy, a surgical procedure to remove bladder stones. This is unfortunately a common issue in bulldogs, but one that can be incredibly painful if left untreated.

Monty’s surgery went ahead quickly due to the severity of his condition. The vet removed several large bladder stones that were causing him extreme discomfort. He’s now recovering, but it hasn’t been easy he’s still in pain, needing care, medication, and follow-up treatments to make sure he heals properly and doesn’t face further complications.

So far, Monty’s surgery and treatment have cost £5,000, and he needs to be referred to a specialist veterinary hospital for further investigation and treatment. The vet is concerned there may be underlying issues causing these stones to form, and without further care, Monty may continue to suffer or require more surgery.

This next stage of treatment is crucial, but it’s also a significant financial strain. I simply can’t cover the cost on my own, which is why I’m asking for your help.
