Help Rebuild Montgomery Ballet’s New Home

In April 2024, Montgomery Ballet faced an unexpected challenge when our beloved building on East Fairview Avenue was condemned. This sudden displacement left us searching for a new place to continue our mission of bringing the joy of dance to our community.

After a thorough search, we are thrilled to announce that in May 2024, we secured a new lease in the Eastbrook Shopping Plaza. However, this new space requires significant renovations to become a suitable home for our dancers and students.

In addition to serving as our main studio, this new facility will also be home to the Montgomery Ballet Studio Theater, a black box theater designed to host our spring shows. This space will provide our community with a true New York City theater experience right here in Montgomery, AL.

We need to install a Marley floor, sprung floor, dance bars, dividing wall, and mirrors, and set up a costume shop to ensure our facility meets the highest standards for training and performance. These essential upgrades come with substantial costs, and we are reaching out to our community for support.
