Hello, my name is Daniela, and today I’m asking for your help with a heavy heart.

My hometown, Montería, Córdoba (Colombia), is facing a devastating environmental emergency. Due to constant rainfall and the overflow of a large reservoir, entire communities are underwater. Many families, including relatives, friends, and neighbors were forced to evacuate with nothing but only the clothes they were wearing. Overnight, they lost their homes, belongings, and sense of safety.

The situation is truly heartbreaking. Thousands of people have had to leave everything behind, and let’s not forget our innocent animals are now homeless as well. They urgently need food, clean water, clothing, shelter, medicine, and basic necessities to get through this crisis.

I created this GoFundMe to raise money to support those most affected and help provide immediate relief. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a real difference for the people of Córdoba during this incredibly difficult time.
