Hi everyone I’m Craig .
When Hurricane Melissa approached Montego Bay Jamaica family prepared as best they could, tho we had weathered storms before, this one felt different. The air was thick with anticipation, and the news warned of unprecedented flooding and winds.
As the storm made landfall, my family huddled together in their living room, surrounded by candles and flashlights and tried to keep the mood light despite the raging winds outside. But as the day wore on, the howling winds turned into a roar, and rain lashed against the windows with a ferocity they had never experienced., the calm after the storm revealed a devastating scene. As they stepped outside it was evident our neighborhood transformed. The once-vibrant streets were flooded, and debris littered the ground. Our home, which had been a warm haven filled with laughter, now bore the scars of the hurricane. Our home was unrecognizable,
As we surveyed the damage, our heart sank when she noticed the extent of the damaged roof windows doors and the entire content inside the house destroyed by wind and water.
But amid the pain, Through acts of kindness, we can begin to heal.
we appreciate any support that can be given .
heartfelt thank you .
