My name is Taisha. 18 months ago my uncle Monte was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He has fought hard for the last 18 months. Enduring many surgeries & rounds of chemotherapy. He continued to work until he no longer could. Monte has severe jaundice and cannot continue with chemotherapy. Because he can’t continue his chemotherapy, in January my uncle began to significantly decline. Last week his wife (my aunt) received a call from his doctors, stating he didn’t have much more time with us here on earth. Due to his long battle with cancer. My aunt and uncle are facing significant medical bills and struggling with monthly expenses. With the great decline in his health recently, they both have not been able to work. He is still fighting for his life. Our family is praying for a miracle, in hopes that Monte can make it to his son’s 16th birthday. My aunt & uncle are kind, loving people. Who have helped so many people out. Always putting everyone before themselves. Hoping this fundraiser will help ease the many financial challenges, cancer has made them face.
