Help Montana State Women's Lacrosse Make it to Nationals!

The Montana State Women's Lacrosse Club is making its second ever Nationals debut! Last year, after an incredible season, the team went to the National tournament for the first time in program history and made it all the way to the National Championship! We are still running off of that incredible season last year, but we are nowhere near ready to call it done.

At the start of the 2026 season US Lacrosse (the national governing body for all lacrosse programs) released preseason rankings with your Montana State bobcats ranked as the #1 D2 team in the nation! They also released a list of preseason All-Americans which included THREE bobcats! (Teagan Boggess, Ellyce Davis, & Eleah Ho). Our team also has the preseason Player of the Year (Eleah Ho) as well as #1 Goalie in the Nation (Ellyce Davis). We also got the bid to host the Rocky Mountain Conference Regional Tournament this year which is an incredible opportunity for Montana!

This year the national tournament is being hosted in Naples, Florida. This is an incredible opportunity for this team that, five years ago, only had 12 girls on the travel roster. We now have an incredible team of over 30 powerhouse ladies that can't wait to show the nation that we aren't done until we finish this season still ranked #1.

To do this, we need your help. Since this team is a club we do not benefit from the same financial backing as an NCAA program does. This means we are entirely student and donor funded. Every girl on this team pays to be able to compete against other nationally ranked programs, and most are full time students and work part time jobs to support this program. Nationals is an incredible opportunity for this team but it comes with a hefty price tag. We are opening up this fundraiser earlier than last season to hopefully gain enough backing to make it all the way to Naples!

We are aware that $30,000 sounds like a lot of money right off the bat but after many hours of conversation and crunching numbers this is price tag that it will take to be able to take our program through the season and into nationals. It is impossible for us to be the program we are without donations and the support from our families and local communities, and for that we are forever grateful. We want to offer transparency with this so our community knows exactly where their donations are going.

Rough Donation Budget Breakdown:
1) Lodging for Nationals (Space for 34 girls and 2 coaches to stay for the entire week of nationals May 11-17)
2) Transportation to Nationals (Flights from Bozeman to Miami and a rental van for transportation to the fields)
3) Field and Officials Fees (The teams are responsible for paying US Lacrosse for the fields and refs for the entire week of Nationals)
4) Regular Season Travels (The team travels over 2,800 miles during the season! A lot goes into the travel and lodging)
5) Ten new uniforms for our growing roster size!

To reiterate, we would not be the number one program in the nation were it not for your support and donations. We would not be able to host Regionals were it not for your support and donations. We would not be able to grow the roster from 12 to 34 were it not for your support and donations. We would not be able to grow our social outreach as much as we have were it not for your support and donations. And we will not be able to continue on the path we are currently set on without your ongoing support and donations. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
