Help Monkey World After Storm Eunice
Donation protected
It's been a tough few years for Monkey World- with covid, the park lost a lot of income for rescues and rehabilitation due to prolonged closure. Just as we started to see the light at the end of the tunnel, Storm Eunice hit and damaged several enclosures around the park, felling trees and taking out the fences.
The forested enclosures are now missing trees, and the fence lines need repairing. We will need to buy fencing materials and aluminium for the overhangs and build climbing structures in the enclosures. The enclosures will need telegraph poles, plastic lumbar platforms, hosing and hammocks to replicate a natural tree environment.
The building work will incur huge costs for the park, and while we budget for constant renovations and refurbishments to our enclosures to keep the primates stimulated, we were not expecting these repairs!
If you can help, we'd be hugely grateful!
