On Sunday, 5/31, my sweet Monkey babe left this earthy plane at home with the help of a home euthanasia service. She had stopped eating and her bloodwork revealed that she was in liver failure. I was advised to help her pass sooner than later to minimize her suffering (today or tomorrow, they said) . So I made the excruciating and compassionate decision to spend one more precious day with her and help her transition the next evening.

I'm so grateful to all those who have already donated to help me to provide care for her chronic illness toward the end of her life. I'm making one last call for support now to pay for her end-of life expenses. I have struggled to get the hours I need at work so finances continue to be strained. I have outstanding bills of $910 ($485 final vet visit and $425 for home euthanasia) Any help is appreciated greatly. (Note: I know the amount raised is confusing- I added on to the existing GoFundMe so that I didn't have to start a new one.

Monkey was a soulate, healer, and a beacon of love and stability through turbulent times. I miss her dearly. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hello Friends,

In the last month, my sweet elder kitty, Monkey, has developed a GI dysfunction and cannot keep food or water down. She's had one urgent care visit and two visits to the vet, and we still don't know the cause. Between x-rays and labs, medications and vet fees I've quickly acquired $1200 in debt. I'm now facing at least another $800 to cover an utraound and who knows what else. I am currently working up to full time at my job and don't have the income to cover these bills. I'm humbly seeking a little help from my friends. Truly any amount is helpful, even $5.
