My name is Monique, and I am reaching out for help during one of the hardest times in my life. My sister, Gemma Ash, was the mellow one in our family—always bringing calm and kindness to those around her. She recently passed away from cancer to the brain. No one in my family ever had cancer before, and it is very sad that it happened to her. Her loss has left a deep ache in my heart.

Gemma had no coverage for burial expenses, and I am on disability with no savings or credit to help cover the costs. I can't afford to travel to her or pay for her burial, and the thought of not being able to lay her to rest is overwhelming. I want to honor her memory and give her the farewell she deserves, but I simply don't have the means to do so on my own.
