Help Monika Recover From A Hit & Run Car Accident That Occurred on August 20, 2020. On August 20, 2020, my mom was making a left hand turn when she was hit at full speed by another car that failed to yield to oncoming traffic.  To date the other driver has not been located.  The damage to her car is quite extensive.  She is unable to go to work because of her injuries.  Luckily an EMT just happened to be there.  He cut the side air bag so she could get out of her car.  He also called the police and an ambulance for her.   I am starting this GoFundMe for her because the deductible for her car insurance is $500.00.  She also did not have the additional insurance that would cover the cost of a rental car while hers is being repaired.  In addition to not being able to work she is really struggling,  she is so bruised and in a lot of pain. If you know my mom, you know how extremely proud she is and would never ever ask anyone for help.  Monetarily or otherwise yet she would give you anything she had to help you if you needed it.
