Monica’s beloved dog, Acadia, is a 4-year-old long-haired dachshund who recently went through a terrifying medical emergency. Acadia required emergency surgery to remove his gallbladder, a procedure that was critical to saving his life. As many pet owners know, emergency veterinary care can be incredibly expensive, and despite doing everything right and acting quickly, the surgery and follow-up treatment will be a significant out-of-pocket expense for Monica.

Monica is the kind of person who is always there for everyone else—showing up, helping out, and offering support whenever it’s needed. Now, she’s facing an overwhelming situation and could really use that same kindness returned to her and her fur baby. Every donation will go directly toward Acadia’s surgery, treatment, and recovery, helping Monica cover the costs and focus on Acadia’s healing.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser means just as much and helps spread the word. Thank you for supporting Monica and helping Acadia heal so he can get back to being the happy, loving dog she adores.
