Help Monica with Jeff's burial

My name is Tricia Kelley, and I am a close family friend to the Gordons. Jeff Gordon was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer almost a year ago just before Easter. Unfortunately, chemotherapy has not been successful, and he is in his end days. Jeff and Monica are hardworking self-employed business owners who run their own car detailing company. Money has been tight this last year, and Monica is faced with the difficult burden of paying for Jeff's burial plot and funeral expenses in addition to their other debts.

We do not know how soon before Jeff will pass, but we are anticipating he will go soon since he has stopped eating. Monica must pay the $6600 burial plot at Mount Olivet as well as approximately $5500 for funeral expenses in full 48 hours before the burial. So time is short.

Despite how much we want to keep Monica and her son, Chris, in Texas, their financial situation requires them to sell their home and relocate closer to family in Oregon after Jeff passes. I have requested an additional few thousand dollars to help them in their move.
