This fundraiser was started to help Monica Goulet with her medical bills and care. Monica is 58 years old with 2 loving children, Morgan Goulet, and her younger brother, Mathew Goulet. Monica is the most caring, selfless person and would give the shirt off of her back to someone in need. Now it is her family’s time to give back to her. On Monday, January 5th, 2026 around 11:00PM she started experiencing extreme pain. Monica was sitting in her bedroom with her daughter Morgan and all of a sudden she told Morgan “I’m going to have to call an ambulance” which alarmed Morgan, so they began calling her twin sister Mona, Morgan and Mathew’s Aunt. When her twin came to check on her, She was between the dresser and the bed, almost fully doubled over. She was hurting in her chest area, dizzy, and sweating terribly. Her twin immediately went to get her a baby aspirin to take, she took it and sat on the bed for maybe 2 seconds then got up, went straight to the bathroom, sat on the toilet and threw it up. Morgan and her twin sister’s first thought was that it might be a stomach bug, so she gave her a Zofran. She sat on the toilet for a good amount of time but the pain never went away. Her twin stepped out of the room to call another family member to see what they suggested. Monica had managed to get up from the toilet and lay face down on the bathroom floor, she couldn’t move and had no clothes on. So Morgan yelled for her Aunt and she was already on the phone with 911. They got her dressed. Her twin then woke her husband (Monica’s brother-in-law) up, who got her off of the bathroom floor, put her in his truck, and rushed her to the hospital himself. When they got to the hospital with her they immediately got her back and hooked her up to all of the heart monitors and found out that she was in fact suffering from a heart attack. She had to have stints put in and has been being monitored at the hospital. She will have to make some lifestyle changes and adjustments when she gets home. She will have to start seeing a cardiologist as well as a primary care physician who can keep a close eye on her and her health, and she will also have to take several different medications daily for the rest of her life. She unfortunately does not have any type of health insurance, so 100% of the funds received here will go directly towards her medical bills, further treatment, and medications that she won’t be able to go without. The family is eternally grateful for all of the love and support shown to us during this hard time.
