My name is Monica Sodek. My mother had open heart surgery and things haven’t gone as expected. I live in Indianapolis and she’s in Texas. I flew down to be with her and I will be here longer than originally planned. I need the ability to travel to and from my home and back to Texas and to be able to stay in a hotel near the hospital.

They have begun doing dialysis to help remove fluid from her body and it seems to be working. I’m trying to get an orthopedic surgeon to preform my shoulder surgery in Texas so that I don’t have to travel back home for my own surgery.
