Refractive Surgery

Hi everyone,

I am Monica and I just graduated with my Masters in Early Education from Pitt!

I’m asking for your help for my STAAR ICL Surgery - a procedure that implants a Collamer Lens into my eyes so I can see perfectly. I was born with Neurofibromatosis 1 and which caused me to have impaired vision since I was born even though I can see fine with my extremely thick pair of glasses. My vision is beyond repair from LASIK but ICL surgery is the only option for me to finally be able to wake up and see clearly for the first time.

As a rising teacher, it would be personally monumental for me to have the vision I always wanted while pursuing my own goal of a classroom full of visionary little learners as they embark on their education journey.
