Our amazing friend Kimberly’s sister, Monica, experienced a devastating house fire yesterday that destroyed her 16-year-old grandson’s bedroom, the bathroom, and much of the house with heavy smoke damage. Praise God that Monica and her entire family are safe! With her birthday the very next day on 11/14, what could have been a day of tragedy instead became a day of relief and gratitude.

Monica is trying to be strong through it all, but the loss has been overwhelming. She was finishing weeks of renovations, including new windows, fresh paint, and a brand-new roof, and so much of that work was destroyed in an instant. Many of their clothes and belongings are now ruined, with the smoke smell embedded so deeply it cannot be washed out. Her grandson lost all of his belongings, including clothes, shoes, games, and consoles. Monica and her three grandsons now face being displaced for at least three months, the entire holiday season, making it even harder to rebuild and get back to normal.

The family is staying with relatives while figuring out their next steps. Your support can help Monica replace essentials and begin rebuilding their home. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference, and sharing this or keeping them in your prayers is deeply appreciated.

Thank you for your love, kindness, and support during this heartbreaking time.
