Hi, my name is Monica. I live in the Central Valley. I’m trying to get money to help with the care of cats in my neighborhood. I have been doing this for several years, but recently became disabled. I no longer work or drive, and caring for the cats has become very expensive. We don’t have resources where I live to get the cats neutered/spayed, not to mention the cost of food. I have had several cats fixed at my own expense and TNR'd back into the neighborhood. There had been a rescue that I was working with to get some cats fixed, but unfortunately, the grant they had was all used.
Right now, there are at least 6-8 cats that come to my house for food, water, and shelter. No one in this neighborhood seems to fix their cats, and they just roam. I actually have a female cat that had her kittens in my garage a little over a month ago. I’m waiting to get her spayed (out of pocket) and then her kittens. Hopefully, I can get them adopted out, or they will just be released into the neighborhood as TNR cats.
The shelter we have here is very small and on limited space. So, I don’t want to take the cats or kittens there. So if anyone can help with any amount, for food, shots, spay/neutering, and general health care for them, it would be greatly appreciated. All money will go to their care.
The pictures are of the momma cat who had her kittens a month ago.
Thank you so much!
