Hi, my name is Santiago, and I’m fighting for my wife Monica’s life.

She was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia 13 years ago. Over the years, chemotherapy didn’t cure her — instead, it weakened her body and caused a secondary genetic mutation (trisomy 8).

She is also not compatible with her family for a bone marrow transplant, which closed one of the only traditional paths to survival.

After watching the treatments break her down, we made the hardest and bravest decision of our lives: to stop chemotherapy and look for alternative ways to keep her alive.

In this search, we found therapies focused on strengthening the body instead of destroying it — nutritional protocols, electromagnetic therapy, and holistic approaches that have given her hope, energy, and moments of real improvement.

But her laboratory results remain very delicate, and maintaining this treatment is extremely costly. I left my job to care for her full-time, and our small business is no longer enough to sustain everything she needs.

I am asking for help because I refuse to lose her.
