Monica is my 9-year-old cat and my precious sweet angel. She has been with me through the hardest periods of my life, offering comfort when I had no support at all. Now, Monica is facing a critical health crisis. She has a gigantic heart that is pressing on her tissue, a diaphragmic hernia next to it, and possible plastic obstruction in her stomach. Her left kidney is already deformed, causing her discomfort and putting her at high risk. Blood work shows she is intoxicated, and the doctor cannot give her steroids or other medications because of the risks to her heart. Without urgent medical help, her life expectancy is only about three months.
All the funds raised will help me get Monica through the necessary check-ups and treatments, including an echocardiogram, ultrasound, medications, and potential surgery. I have spoken to veterinarians and shared all her results, and they agree that immediate medical intervention is needed to give Monica the best chance. Your support will help cover these costs and ensure Monica receives the care she needs.
Monica means everything to me. If she passes away, a piece of me dies with her, and I’m not ready for this. She still has time here, and I will do my best to prolong her life without stress or pain to my best ability. Any help you can give means the world to us. Thank you for reading Monica’s story and for considering a donation to help her fight for more time.
