Help Monica and Ali from Hurricane Ian Relief

Hi, my name is Valerie C., I am fundraising for my sister in law's Monica and Alexandra Castellanos.

Hurricane Ian was a category 4 hurricane that came through Port Charlotte on September 28th. Their home has extensive damage from the hurricane. They are only begining to see the extent of damage to their home as the days unfold. They have lost parts of their roof, damage to walls, floors, and furniture. Family has arrived today to help them start to sort through the destruction and they have shared these pictures with me.

I know from living in Florida how scary a major hurricane coming your way can be. This is a living nightmare for Monica and Ali right now.

After speaking to them on the phone after connectivity has returned they are both besides themselves how much damage is around them. They are thankful to have made it through the storm with their three dogs and cat.

I've been blessed to call them my family for years. They are two of the most loving, caring, and giving ladies I know. They are always so kind to our family and friends. They have given so much to our family for years, I'd like to help arrange a fundraiser to give back to them in their time of need. All the money raised will go to them to help rebuild their home and lives. They will be using money to meet a deductible to be paid for their home owners insurance.

Family and Monica and Ali have been hard at work trying to put things back together. A priority was to put a temporary roof over the section of the home that lost the roof. This will hopefully minimize further damage from rain. The following pictures were shared with me.
