MoneyThink UCLA is a student-led organization that supports underserved high school seniors across Los Angeles through financial literacy and college career preparation. Our UCLA mentors teach students how to budget, save, build credit, pay for college, and prepare for life after high school.

This year, we faced a major barrier — we were unable to secure funding for mentor transportation to the high school. Because of this, our mentors have been paying out of pocket — about $70-$100 each visit — just to show up for our students. While we are deeply committed, this is not sustainable long-term.
