Help Moneek rebuild ARTrageous

Moneek Pines, the owner and creator of ArtRageousBrushandFlow, was born and raised in South Philly. She’s a graduate of CAPA and Moore College of Art and Design. As a college student, she had twin boys but still managed to beat the odds and graduate with a degree in sculptural studies. This woman is deeply loved in her community.

Sadly, while writing this, her art studio, a brick-and-mortar location in Germantown, caught fire and was severely damaged. Moneek, who struggled with severe social anxiety as a child, found solace in art. She used it as her anchor, and that’s exactly what she aims to do with her business. She says that once you step foot in her studio, you’re part of her family. She’s created a safe space where people can create, be loved, and unapologetically be themselves.

Anyone who knows Moneek would tell you she’s the most selfless woman on this planet. She loves to love, especially people. She can connect with anyone, even strangers from completely different backgrounds. Her presence is like an old baby blanket—familiar, warm, and comforting.
