My sister Mona suffered a terrible fall early morning on January 22nd, breaking her neck and requiring emergency surgery that evening. The herniated discs pressed down on her spinal cord, causing severe nerve damage. As of now, Mona is considered a total care quadriplegic. My family and I are anticipating her release from the hospital on February 19th, and we are doing everything we can to prepare for her return home.
We need help getting things ready so Mona can come home safely and comfortably. Donations will go directly to building a ramp for accessibility, purchasing a recliner for her to relax, and covering other essential items that will make her life just a little easier as she begins her long road to recovery. Mona has shown incredible strength, but she will need ongoing support and care as she adapts to these new challenges.
My family and I appreciate any donations and the time spent reading Mona’s story. Your support means the world to us, and we ask that you please share this fundraiser with others who may be able to help. Together, we can make a difference in Mona’s life and help her start this next chapter with hope and comfort.
