Help Mona Begum Support her Daughters

Hello there, I am Samar and I want to introduce you to Mona Begum.

I first met her a few weeks ago in Saudi Arabia. Mona is a mother of two daughters from Dhaka in Bangladesh and came to Riyadh so she could support her family living in Dhaka. She works as a house keeper, cleaning houses, making food, taking care of children and residents she works with, earning around a maximum of £500-600 a month.

Last year was a very difficult year for her. Her husband was fighting throat cancer and sadly passed away in September. Now her two daughters are alone in Dhaka, one is 22 and the other is 15. They are all looking for ways to support themselves but it hasn't been easy.

Mona is one of the most hardworking and beautiful souls I have met. She is always hustling to find a few extra hours of work to make money, not only that but she is so generous, stays positive and keeps her faith that God will find a way for her, and her daughters. Like any parent she wants her daughters to stay protected and her only wish is to build a small house next to her sister in Dhaka where her daughters can live safely.

With her low income salary and overhead expenses supporting her daughters, she doesn't have much money left to build a house. The cost would be a mere £20,000 to build it, a figure most of us make in half a year. For her it would take around 8-10 years.

My pledge is for every person who understands the struggle a woman like Mona goes through to donate a small portion of their income, no matter what amount. So you can be a part of changing not just one woman but two other girls' lives who deserve every opportunity and privilege that we and our loved ones have.

This is Mona and I, I hope to support her as much as I can and I hope you can help make her dreams come true too. She isn't too familiar with how tech works but she is fully aware of this profile and I keep her updated throughout the process. I can assure once the funds have been raised they will go directly to her and an update will be sent to whoever is interested.
