Help Mona and Joel Stay in Their Home

Hello, my name is Audra and my cousin Mona has had the unfortunate diagnosis of breast cancer (triple negative breast cancer) this past December 2024. My cousin has an amazing spirit, is an all-around wonderful person, and an incredible influence on her friends and family, which I have truly admired about her. In addition, she has been the legal guardian of her 11-year-old grandson, Joel, since he was 4. My cousin's strength, resilience, and willpower since her diagnosis have been truly amazing. She worked as long as she could, but chemotherapy is a draining procedure, which has made it impossible for her to work now.

There are still some hurdles she needs to complete, including surgery and more treatments that will be required after surgery. Based on the remaining procedures she still has to endure, she is hoping to return to work sometime next year and is in need of some assistance financially for rent, in order to stay in her house.
