Help Mom's Recovery After Major Surgery

As some of you know, our family has been going through a lot, especially as of late. Mom has been battling cancer and recently had a huge surgery in order to become cancer-free that has left her dependent on myself. She was in the hospital in Cleveland for over a month due to complications. She basically had three major surgeries in one. Aunt Karen was battling cancer at the same time, but unfortunately, it ended up taking her life. We're still trying to come to terms with that.

I was let go from my job due to having to take care of Mom and Aunt Karen and having to miss days. Mom is just starting to get on the mend but still has a long road ahead. I've had to be with her to help care for her, change her colostomy and urostomy bags, anything she needs. She cannot walk independently still. It's been a long road.

With myself not working and Mom still unable to get back to work, bills are starting to pile up. We desperately need the help. We're a short throw away from losing one of our vehicles, if not both. It has been a complete struggle. It's very hard to come on here and tell our story and ask for help. I wish things were different, but right now we just need to focus on getting by until things get better. The stress of everything is unbearable at times, but we're just so thankful Mom has made it through everything and hopefully has lots more time to live life.
