Help Momo Smile Again

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my sweet cat, Momo. She’s my 2-year-old tuxedo girl, adopted from a shelter when she was just one and she’s been my little shadow ever since.

Momo is one of the gentlest, most affectionate souls I’ve ever known. She loves belly rubs, brushing time (she’ll run to you the moment she hears the brush), and making “donuts” with her paws all day long. She’s talkative, always nearby, and even sleeps on me every morning after breakfast. She has never used her claws, even when she’s annoyed we ran out of her favorite treat (Delectables, of course). She’s family.

Today we got some heartbreaking news. After a vet visit, Momo was diagnosed as needing a level 3 dental extraction, just one stage below the most severe. Her gums very swollen especially towards the back as she has a loose tooth as well, She’s predicted to need multiple teeth or more removed, and while she’s incredibly good at hiding her pain (like most cats), we now know she’s been silently suffering. She’s in pain and needs this procedure to live comfortably again.

The total cost is expected to be around $2,000, and her first visit already cost nearly $400 for exams, X-rays, and preventative care. Unfortunately, even though we have insurance and a wellness plan, none of the procedure is covered. It’s been a sudden, heavy financial blow.

Momo’s surgery is scheduled for August 13, and we want to do everything we can to ease her suffering. If you’re able to contribute or share this with others, it would mean the world to us. Every little bit truly helps.
