As the saying goes, when it rains, it pours- After successfully moving into our new apartment and beginning to get the necessary things for a place of our own (such as a shower curtain and silverware), my beloved car, a 1995 Oldsmobile named Bonnibelle, decided to up and totally crap out on me. Transmission fluid everywhere. I managed to get her to a reliable shop and long story short, she's in need of a new transmission...this is the last thing I wanted to have happen right as I start a new chapter of my life, but there's not much to be done about it...
So I am once again coming with metaphorical hat in metaphorical hand to ask for help decrease the absolute beating this has done to my finances/debt I have taken on for it. This is a car that has gotten me through my entire 10+ years of adulthood- through college, multiple moves, and multiple jobs. She is in otherwise excellent condition reported by multiple mechanics and has a rather low mileage for a car her age. Without her, I have no means of pretty much anything because the area I live in has notoriously terrible public transit/walkability. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated. Thank you as always.
