momo declined severely, and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her gently drift into her forever sleep.

it was the kindest and most peaceful gift i could give her after all the unconditional love she gave me over the years.

eight years is a long time to love a dog and build a bond — but it still doesn’t feel like nearly enough. i can’t help but feel like time was stolen from us.

thank you to everyone who has shared kind words or donated. sadly, i’m still facing the weight of the vet bill, so any support is deeply appreciated and honestly still needed.

i don’t know how to begin processing any of this — it’s not how i thought it would go.

i’ll miss the sound of momo and misa playing. i’ll miss her howl when an ambulance passed, her bark, her soft fur, her kisses, her stinky little feet, her sharpness (she was such a smart dog), her hair on absolutely everything, her snuggles, her eyes, her little droopy ear, and most of all the bond we had.

it can never be replicated and i will never experience a love like it again.

i’m thankful for the time we had together. i miss my lil mo. i’m so heartbroken.

my sweet girl momo has been diagnosed with IMHA (immune-mediated hemolytic anemia) — a serious and life-threatening disease where her immune system attacks her own red blood cells.

right now, momo is fighting hard to survive. she urgently needs a blood transfusion and long-term medications to give her the best chance. without treatment, IMHA can progress very quickly, and we’re doing everything we can to save her.

the cost of her care — including emergency treatment, transfusions, hospital monitoring, and medications — is overwhelming, and i can’t do this alone. i am setting up this gofundme to help cover her vet bills and give momo the fighting chance she deserves.
