Help Momo Eat Comfortably Again

Hello! We're Ben and Kirsten, two musicians from the Midwest. If you know anything about us, you know what we're both obsessed with our cats, Momo and Jimbei. And we just found out that Momo needs a $1633 dental procedure.
If you've ever had a cavity or any other tooth ailment, you know how painful it is. Momo has a Feline odontoclastic resorptive lesion (FORL) affecting her big right-side tooth. We've been noticing that the tooth has been digging into her gum and that, lately, she's been favoring the left side of her mouth as she chews. While not life-threatening, and not preventable, it's clearly affecting her quality of life.
Momo is a very sweet, very squishy 7-year-old cat. She's shy around new people, but incredibly affectionate with us - despite only being 8 pounds, she has one of the loudest purrs I've ever heard, and she'll start purring the second you walk into a room.
We want Momo to live her best life, but our vet thinks she will likely need the tooth partially cut or removed, quoting us $1633 for the procedure. We're both in financially precarious situations right now - plus, we recently had our housing situation pulled out from under us with two days' notice - so $1633 is a lot at the moment. That's why, if you're able to help, the two of us and Momo would greatly appreciate it.
If we happen to go over $1633, we would use the funds towards other vet bills to help Momo and our other cat Jimbei have the best quality of life possible - blood work and so on. Jimbei has tartar buildup which could turn into a FORL, and it would cost an additional $784 to treat him, too.
Thank you so much!!
