My name is Sharon, and I am raising funds to help my dog, Mommas (aka: Spud), recieve the veterinary care she needs.

Mommas was a rescue dog. She along with our other dog, Tater Tot, ran out in front of my car when I was about 20-years-old. Tater Tot was so young and trusting, she ran right up to me when I called them over to come home and get them taken care of (food, water, see if someone was missing them, etc.). Mommas was more skeptical. It took three days to get her home, and she even bit the person I was with out of fright. However, once reunited with Tater, she jumped around and danced happily. She gave us kisses almost as a thank you because she knew she was home.

Well, about two weeks later, we realized that Mommas came with a special surprise. Her stomach was growing fast, and I was in a bit of a panic about it. I remember telling her, "I hope you were just so hungry, you ate a lot...otherwise, only two puppies, okay?" Short story, long: two puppies, not okay. Our tiny Spud became Mommas when she had six puppies! She took her role very seriously and cared for her tiny beings so attentively. Mommas became depleted with the care of so many puppies that she had a twenty minute seizure on the way to the vet due to eclampsia. We were so fortunate that she came around!

Her care, as well as the care of all my other rescue babies, having my own child, and my inability to use our Care Credit card anymore (long story: I accidentally made a double payment, but they closed my account when I didn't have the momey for both payments, just the one), have made it incredibly difficult to get her the treatment that she currently needs.

A little over a year and a half ago, Mommas was diagnosed with a Lipoma near her bum. It has grown significantly since then, and she needs it removed due to its size and impact on her quality of life. She also desperately needs dental work for the latter reason.

If you can help us reach our goal of $4000, you have no idea what it would mean to us and our little family! Mommas has been through so much with us, and I just want to make sure her senior years are filled with as much joy and comfort as she has given us. I'm just sorry that I need assistance in doing so.
