Please help our mom, Michelle. She is the most kind and loving person we know. If you know Michelle, you love her. Period. She is a badass and a rockstar. She always has a smile on her face and is a loyal, hardworking gal. She'd give the shirt off her back to anyone that would need it.
She suffered a significant stroke early Friday morning. She was getting ready to go into work as she took some days off to help her youngest son, Nick, and his family move to Montana. Her husband Jeffrey had a debilitating stroke in July of 2018 that left him bedridden. She has been taking care of him with help from Antonio, who is his caretaker while she goes to work. Antonio found Michelle on the floor when he arrived. Since no one knows exactly when her stroke happened, they couldn't administer the miracle clot buster drug. She had surgery on her brain to remove the clot. Surgery was successful, and so far, all CT scans show her clear of clots. She is recovering at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma. Due to covid, they aren't allowing visitors and we are all very upset that we cannot hold her hand through this. We are able to have zoom calls with her. But it doesn't feel like enough.
Derrick and Megan are going to take care of the 3 boys, Eddie, GC, and Odin. Winston is going to come to Montana until things can settle down. Jeffrey's son and sister, along with Antonio, will be taking care of Jeffrey.
At this point in time, we are unsure of where things are going to go. But having gone through this before, we know how hard the bills roll in. We will be using this money for bills that need to be paid right now. Her car had to go into the shop in Montana when she was here visiting. Her mortgage, and other bills that accrue with having a house, and a disabled significant other.
