Hello. My name is Desiree’. I’m starting a GoFundMe for my mother, Leann.

My mother had a heart attack in October 2024 followed by a quadruple bypass surgery in November 2024. At the time, she was receiving short-term disability and some support from her husband. In December of 2024, Leann decided to finally get out of a toxic relationship for her own health and well-being.

Leann’s short-term disability ran out on December 30, 2024; long-term disability eligibility will not be considered until January 31, 2025. On top of that Leann had to drain her savings to retain a lawyer for separation papers. With all that being said, Leann finds herself without financial stability at a very vulnerable time. All donations will go directly to Leann for her everyday needs and to help pay her bills until she is able to return to work.
