Help Momma Kim Heal from Brain Surgery

Our mom, Kimberly Colmenero, or Momma Kim, Momma Colmenero, or the many loving names she's received from so many, is the heart and soul of our family—an incredible mother, wife, sister, and friend to many, and has always put everyone else’s needs before her own. She’s never met a stranger, nor has she walked away from anyone in need. But right now, she’s facing the fight of her life.

Just a few days ago, our lives were turned upside down when Kimberly was rushed to the hospital after being found unconscious. After tests and scans, we found a severe infection in her sinus that leached into her brain. The situation was critical, and doctors had to perform emergency brain surgery to save her life. While the surgery was successful in removing the infection, the road to recovery is long, uncertain, and filled with challenges.

Kimberly remains in the hospital, undergoing intensive care and monitoring. Each day brings small victories, but also new hurdles. Her body is healing, but she’s not out of the woods yet, and the road forward isn’t fully clear. We know that recovery will take months of therapy, medical care, and time before she can regain her strength and health to enjoy her family and grandchildren.

Our family is doing everything we can to support her, but the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. Between mounting medical bills, the cost of her ongoing care, and the time needed for her recovery, we are asking for your help during this incredibly difficult time.
