Why raise funds?
They were hit head-on by a drunk driver!
1. Both suffered broken bones & cannot work.
2. Due to the nature of their employment they cannot generate income for the next 2 months.
3. Rehabilitation & physical therapy must be paid out of pocket.
4. Medical bills from the accident are extremely high.
5. Until the court case, they have to fund everything themselves.
On Sunday September 1st at 10:52pm. Momma Jeri, Orjana & Jacinda were hit, head-on by a drunk driver. They made a left turn onto Sugar Creek Rd. from N Tryon St. (heading toward I-85) when they heard tires screeching & were immediately hit, head-on by a car.
Based on the crash report, the car was speeding, coming from the opposite direction and swerved into oncoming traffic. This impact flipped his car and pushed their vehicle across a second lane onto the sidewalk. Their car was hit a second time by another car, which pinned in Orjana, the driver.
The drunk driver was 20 years old and arrested the next morning for driving while impaired.
Momma Jeri suffered 3 broken ribs and a broken wrist. She had surgery on her left knee and has a sprained right ankle. Her body is bruised and covered with lacerations due to broken glass.
Orjana broke her right leg and has contusions on her ribs with bruising around her abdomen and waist. She suffers from neck and back pains.
Jacinda suffered contusions on her lungs with bruising and soreness on her rib cage, abdomen and waist. She has lacerations all over her body from broken glass.
