Hello,
I feel weird making this because I struggle asking for help, but my mom could really use your help.
Those who know my mom, know that she has struggled with different illnesses her whole life, starting with lupas at 19 years old. In 2013 , she had a small bowel transplant and has basically gone down hill since then. Her body is still struggling to absorb food and do normal day-to-day activites. Currently, she has been diagnosed with a rare neurological syndrome called, Adult Paraneoplastic opsoclonus-myoclonus Syndrome which effects her anti-bodies and nerve system. She is currently not able to stand or walk on her own. It causes her to loose her vision and have tremours. The doctors hope through their treatment, it might be the fix to all of her medical problems.
My mom is the sweetest, loving and generous person I know. She is a true walking miracle and I would love for her to over come this and be able to feel like a normal human again. These medical expenses are outrageous and if she had help with just 1/4 of the bills, it would be an answer pray and the beginning to her new and healthier life.
