Help Momma Baus pay her Medical Bills

She goes by many names, some know her as Deb, others know her as angel, but we call her mom. Odds are if you know her, she has made a positive impact on you. Over the past 3 decades she has worked tirelessly serving the needs of local residents, waitressing at various establishments in the Mukwonago area. Nearing the end of November 2023, life seemingly demanded for a pause.... "The labs came back indicating that you have breast cancer."

Deb was diagnosed with stage 1 microinvasive carcinoma breast cancer. In January, she underwent a lumpectomy to remove as much of the cancer as possible. The post-op biopsy from that surgery presented HER2 proteins attached to her cancer cells. These proteins promote the growth of malignant cells and can become aggressive. In response to the new findings, Deb's team of doctors were forced to alter the treatment plan; introducing itself to the conversation, chemotherapy. Chemo is something that we were previously thankful to have avoided up until this point. As it stands, the current treatment plan is a year of chemo, radiation and 5 years of hormonal therapy. With this treatment plan in place, the doctors are confident in the fact that a cure is attainable.

Not being able to work as much as she normally would plus the ever-mounting medical bills is starting to take its toll.
