Help Momen Survive and Evacuate Gaza

Hi, my name is Frances and I am from Melbourne, Australia. I am creating this campaign on behalf of my dear friend Momen Ameer Abdallah who is a 24 year old public relations consultant from Gaza City. Momen also worked as a model and a foreman in a once prominent restaurant in Gaza. He is now currently experiencing his 8+ displacement after he and his family had to evacuate from their home in Gaza City, which has been completely destroyed, and have been on the move every few weeks ever since. Their most recent being displaced from Deir al-Balah, to Khan Younis and then back to Deir al-Balah again. As of a few days ago, they were once again displaced from one area of Deir al-Balah to the other, due to the occupations orders. 

Momen is facing unimaginable hardship on a daily and fears for the lives of not only himself but his family. Especially his siblings and nieces and nephews. The situation in Gaza is getting increasingly dire as not only are they facing constant danger everywhere they turn with increasing bombardment heavily in all surrounding areas, they are also facing unsanitary conditions which are fostering diseases as well as a man-made famine. 80% of Gaza has been completely decimated and Momen is urgently needing to be able to accumulate funds to sustain his survival on a daily basis and eventually aid in the evacuation of himself to Egypt once the Rafah border finally reopens. Once Momen is able to evacuate from Gaza to Egypt, he eventually wants to travel and relocate to Europe where he wishes to complete his Master's education there. He wants to find suitable employment in the future while he also has big plans to create his very own company.

Due to the exorbitant cost of living prices, it can cost many Gazawi families upwards of $150-$300 a day (at minimum) just for basic necessities which include food, water, gas and medicine. Now with minimal to no aid getting in, amenities are becoming scarce which in turn raises the prices of the little resources they can find, exponentially.

The cost of passage for each person to cross the Egyptian Rafah crossing via the Hala Consulting and Tourism company is:

$5000 USD per adult

Total amount needed will be $12,000 Euro (around $20,000 AUD) which will also help cover GoFundMe fees as well as additional Bank costs.

Until evacuation, Momen will also need to be able to provide financially for his remaining family members and your donations will assist him in doing so by aiding in him providing basic necessities for his family.

These beautiful souls are beyond exhausted. Each day becomes monotonous, with basic chores often taking hours to do at a time, all under the sweltering heat and humidity. They need relief and if we can help facilitate that relief by providing the financial assistance to alleviate the burden that is placed on the shoulders of people like Momen, then why not do everything we possibly can?
