My mom is 83 years old and in the fight of her life. She recently suffered a severe hip and femur injury that required major surgery, one my family had to pay for entirely out of pocket. I’ve been doing everything I can, coordinating her care, paying for medications, paying for nurses, and now trying to cover the cost of her physical therapy. Managing all of this has been heartbreaking.

My family has given everything we have to make sure she’s safe and cared for. We’ve drained our savings, stretched every paycheck, and leaned on each other just to keep her recovery going. We’ve never asked for help before, but we’ve reached a point where we simply can’t do it alone anymore.

My mom is slowly regaining her strength, she’s fighting with everything she has to walk again and reclaim her independence. But she still needs ongoing nursing support and physical therapy to fully recover.
