My mom has been in a care center for the last year due to her health, and we were finally able to move her back home last week. She’s back in her mother-in-law apartment behind our house. We rent both houses. She was approved for food stamps, but they are not going to be going out in November.

We have been able to get everything she needs for her place except enough food to get her through. We also came down with COVID 2 days after she came home. Myself and my husband help out as much as possible with anything we can. She’s not picky. Any extra funds would go to any other needy families in our area.
