Help Mom Stay Home After Cancer & Surgery

Donation protected
Greg's mom, Alice C. Ellis, has spent decades as a dedicated teacher, shaping young minds and giving back to her community through her church and countless acts of kindness. At 79, she’s always been the heart of her family’s home—a place where holidays and milestones are celebrated, and where everyone gathers for support and love.

Recently, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She’s undergone a mastectomy and is now facing the challenges of chemotherapy and radiation. On top of this, she’s dealing with a heart condition and a worn out knee, both of which will require surgery. These health struggles have made it nearly impossible for her to get around, especially in her split-level home where stairs are unavoidable.

Greg and his brothers are coming together to raise funds to install an elevator in their parents’ home. The goal is to help their mom and dad stay in the place that means so much to them, surrounded by family and memories. The funds will also help cover mounting medical bills, equipment, and mobility aids. Your support will help keep this family together in the home they love, and every donation—no matter the size—will make a meaningful difference. We would appreciate it if you shared this fundraiser with anyone who might be willing and able to help.
From the bottoms of our hearts, we thank you.
