Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but hopeful spirit. My mom has been struggling with serious vision issues for quite some time, and we’ve recently been told she needs eye surgery as soon as possible. The total cost of the surgery is $2,400 and her insurance does not cover. We are hoping to raise $4,000 to cover not only the procedure itself but also post-op care, transportation to and from her appointments, and any additional medications or unforeseen expenses. She is against this but we wanted to show her that we can come together as a community no matter the circumstance.

Anyone who knows my mom knows how deeply she cares for others—she’s the kind of person who will give her last dollar or offer a helping hand without hesitation. Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
